“The idea of creating this exhibition – explains Mariadele Girolami – was born by talking to Roberto Angelini whom I had previously only known in his capacity as president of the Ponterotto district committee. We worked with him on this project which would give the necessary emphasis not only to the work of the nativity scene makers involved but which would highlight the concept of the nativity scene as an integral part of our culture, our values and Christian traditions. The other friends of the nativity scene thus made available in making their creations available for an exhibition to be hosted in the institutional space par excellence of the city. A special thanks goes to the President of the City Council Giovanni Chiarini for immediately joining the proposal by sponsoring the exhibition”.
